Women

Princeton senior Gretchen Anderson (Natick, Mass.) proved to be the catalyst for the Princeton offense in Saturday's important win over Dartmouth. Anderson had a hand in four of Princeton's five goals as the Tigers won a key game in the race for playoff positioning. She started the day by setting up Princeton's first two goals to give the Tigers a 2-0 lead. She then scored two to give Princeton a 4-1 lead entering the third period.

Brown sophomore Jodi Blustin (Duluth, Minn.) earned her first career shut-out against Union with 10 saves.

Harvard sophomore Ali Boe (Edina, Minn.) stopped 45-of-48 shots in Harvard's two-game sweep over No. 3 St. Lawrence at Bright Hockey Center. She finished with 20 saves, including two in the extra period, of the Crimson's 3-2 overtime win over the Saints. Boe came back the next night and stopped 25-of-26 shots in the 5-1 win to close out the series. She is third in the nation with a 1.43 goals-against average and has a 16-2-1 record. Boe was named ECAC Goalie of the Week.

Harvard junior Nicole Corriero (Thornhill, Ont.) turned it up for the Crimson, notching her third hat trick of the season and adding an assist on the gamewinner as Harvard posted a 5-1 win to complete the regular season sweep over the St. Lawrence. She continues to be among the national leaders scoring and leads the team with 53 points (31-22). Corriero is third in the nation in scoring with 2.12 points per game, first in goals per game (1.24) and eighth in assists (0.88).

Harvard sophomore Julie Chu (Fairfield, Conn.) assisted on all three Harvard goals in Friday night's 3-2 overtime win over St. Lawrence. She followed that by assisting on two Crimson goals, including the gamewinner in the 5-1 win over the Saints to complete the sweep. Her five-point weekend effort moved her past Julie Sasner for ninth on Harvard's all-time scoring charts with 135 points (52-83). She was also named ECAC Player of the Week.

Brown freshman Marie-Pier Desbiens (Bolton-Est,Que.) earned her first career shut-out with 15 saves.

Princeton freshman Liz Keady (Braintree, Mass.) helped Princeton rally back from an early 1-0 deficit by scoring unassisted and then setting up two third-period goals by Pearce. On Saturday, Keady scored a third-period goal.

Cornell freshman Halina Kristalyn (Bloomfield, Ont.) talled three points in leading the Big Red to a 1-1 tie and a 3-1 win over Findlay this weekend. On Friday, Kristalyn recorded the Big Red's only goal of the contest on a power-play goal at 12:46 when she snuck the puck past the Oilers goaltender. On Saturday, she recorded her first points of the contest when she assisted in Cornell's Caroline Scott's goal. She then notched the game-winning goal for the Big Red in the second period off a deflected shot at 11:11.

Dartmouth sophomore Kate Lane (Wingham, Ont.) improved her record to 4-0-1 with a win over Yale Friday. Lane's shutout streak of 208:08 was snapped in the first period, but she made 17 saves to lead Dartmouth to a 4-1 victory. Lane has a .957 save percentage and 0.72 goals against average for the season.

Yale sophmore Sarah Love (Bayfield, Ont.) picked up her ninth win of the season against Vermont, making 13 saves in two periods of work. Against No. 3 Dartmouth on Friday night, Love made 36 saves - including many spectacular ones – in a 4-1 loss. Love’s season save percentage (.927%) is still on pace to surpass the single-season Yale mark as is her season goals against average (2.21). Love is the ECAC leader in save percentage and currently ranks fourth in goals against average.

Princeton freshman Kim Pearce (Ottawa, Ont.) played an important role this weekend to help the Tigers to a sweep of Vermont and Dartmouth. On Friday, Pearce helped Princeton rally back from an early 1-0 deficit by scoring two third-period goals. On Saturday, it was she who posted two helpers, one of them coming on Keady's third-period goal. She was named ECAC Rookie of the Week.

Harvard senior Angela Ruggiero (Harper Woods, Mich.) extended her scoring streak to 23 games, including eight-straight multiple-point outings, in exciting fashion. She airlifted a pass to Julie Chu to assist on Harvard's first goal, then scored the gamewinner at 2:10 of overtime to give Harvard a 3-2 win over St. Lawrence on Friday night. Ruggiero capped the weekend with a goal and an assist in the 5-1 win over the Saints to give the Crimson sole possession of first place in the ECAC standings. 

Brown sophomore Margaret Ramsay (Toronto, Ont.) tallied one goal and an assist in the Bears 10-0 win over the Dutchmen. In Saturday’s game she led the Bears, netting four goals and an assist and earned her first hat trick of the season.

Yale freshman Kristin Savard (Framingham, Mass.) continued her stellar play this weekend, contributing a goal and two assists in Yale’s split with Dartmouth and Vermont. Savard set up classmate Jenna Spring for Yale’s only goal against No. 3 ranked Dartmouth. The next night, against Vermont, Savard scored her team-leading 12th goal of the season as well as assisting on Erin Duggan’s first period goal.

Princeton senior Megan Van Beusekom (Loretto, Minn.) earned two wins over the weekend to lift Princeton into eighth in the ECAC standings. On Friday she stopped 13 Big Red shots in a 4-1 win over Cornell and on Saturday she sticked aside 17 Colgate shots and came within a second of her second shutout of the season.

Cornell Netminder Flora Vineberg (Toronto, Ont.) notched a tie and win over the weekend having a combined 46 saves. She has a save percentage of .900 and a GAA average of 3.44.

Dartmouth sophomore Katie Weatherston (Thunder Bay, Ont.) notched two goals and three assists as Dartmouth went 1-1 on the weekend against Yale and Princeton. Weatherston tallied the first goal against Yale, and notched assists on both of Meagan Walton's goals to lead the Big Green to a 4-1 victory.



Men

Harvard junior Dov Grumet-Morris (Evanston, Ill.) turned in impressive back-to-back performances to help his team earn three points on the road.  He made 26 saves in preserving a 2-1 victory at Clarkson on Friday, then came back to make a season-best 37 stops in a 3-3 tie at St. Lawrence the following evening. 

Yale sophomore Christian Jensen (New Canaan, Conn.) recorded a goal against both Colgate and Cornell, including a shorthander in Yale’s 3-1 road defeat if the No. 14 Raiders. He netted the Bulldogs’ only score against Cornell, and went +2 on the weekend. Jensen has notched at least one point in nine of the Elis’ last 10 contests.

Harvard freshman Tyler Kolarik (Abingto, Pa.) had a two-goal  effort against St. Lawrence, helping his team to the 3-3 tie and three-point weekend. Kolarik has moved into second place on the team with eight goals, and is second in points as well (23).  Harvard is 5-1-1 this season when Kolarik lights the lamp - and an amazing 27-9-4 over his four-year career.

Cornell freshman David McKee (Irving, Texas) had 38 saves and allowed two goals over the weekend (one each game) for a 1.01 GAA and a .950 save percentage in the two games. He improved his overall GAA from 1.78 to 1.73 to go ahead of Yann Danis and into first place in the conference and fourth nationally. His conference GAA also improved from 1.45 to 1.40, which is also tops in the ECAC. His overall save percentage of .924 is second in the conference and seventh
nationally, while his conference-only save pct. of .937 is also second.

Cornell sophomore Matt Moulson (Mississauga, Ont.) scored the game winner against Rensselaer with an unassisted power-play goal early in the third period.

Dartmouth sophomore Hugh Jessiman (Darien,Conn.) scored three goals and recorded one assist helping Dartmouth to a three-point weekend. Against Princeton he had the tying goal late in the third period and against Yale he scored the game-winner for his second game-winning goal of the year. Two of his three strikes were on the power-play. With his 10 power-play goals this year he is tied for second nationally. Hugh leads the team in scoring with 32 points (16g, 16a).

Dartmouth rookie defenseman Grant Lewis (Upper St. Clair, Pa.) continues to make an impact for the Big Green. In two games over the weekend he recorded three assists and now leads the team with 21. He is tied for third nationally in defenseman scoring. Lewis was named ECAC Rookie of the Week.

Princeton senior Matt Maglione (Fayetteville, N.Y.) provided the Tigers with its offense Friday night in the tie at Dartmouth. Maglione scored Princeton's first goal, early in the second period on a point shot on the power play and gave Princeton a 2-1 lead early into the third with a blast from the left point.

Princeton freshman B.J. Sklapsky (Martensville, Sask.) made 38 saves in his second career start, including six in overtime to earn the second tie of his career. Sklapsky stymied the Big Green all night, with both Dartmouth goals bouncing off posts and into the net.
