Darren Spicer, the 2004 Ivy League Player of the Year and this week’s Ivy League Player of the Week, added another honor Tuesday afternoon when he was also named the East Coast Athletic Conference Division I Player of the Week.

Spicer ’06 (Diamond Bar, Calif.) scored all three of Princeton’s goals last week to lead the Tigers to two victories and back to .500 (3-3 entering Wednesday’s play) on the season. Spicer scored twice in a 2-0 victory over Drexel, and notched a “golden goal” against Adelphi, scoring in the seventh minute of overtime to win the game, 1-0.

Spicer has four goals and an assist in six games this season, and led the Tigers in scoring with 25 points, 12 goals and 49 shots in 17 games a season ago. Spicer also led Princeton in scoring as a sophomore.
