CO-PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
Brown senior center Matt Mullery (Millstone, N.J.) continues
to be a major force in the middle for the Bears. In tough games against
URI, St. John's and Maine, Mullery averaged over 16 points per game and
shot 19-of-29 (.655) from the field. He registered a double-double
against URI with 10 points and 11 rebounds with three assists. He
came back against St. John's with 16 points, 3 rebounds and three steals.
Mullery led the Bears to a win over Maine with 24 points, five rebounds
and four assists.
Columbia
sophomore guard Noruwa Agho (New City, N.Y.) averaged
18.5 points in two games. Agho shot a sizzling 70% from three-point range
during the opening week for the Lions, and connected on 57.9% from the
field in all. On Friday in Columbia's home-opening win vs. Longwood, Agho
matched his career-best with 24 points on 7-of-10 shooting, including
a perfect 4-of-4 from downtown. He added four rebounds, a steal and three
assists without a turnover. In the season opener at DePaul, Agho scored
13 points, hitting 3-of-6 three-pointers, with two rebounds, two assists
and three steals.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Brown freshman forward Andrew McCarthy (Sudbury, Mass.)
scored 8 points, blocked a shot and grabbed 3 rebounds against Rhode Island,
and scored 11 points, pulled down 6 rebounds and block two shots in Brown's
close loss to St. John's. He came back in Brown's win over Maine to score
10 points, grab six rebounds and block two shots against the Black Bears.

Had 17 points and 5 rebounds vs. Delaware.
Dan Mavraides, Princeton — 13.5 ppg, 4 rpg, 3 apg
14 points and a career-high five assists vs. Army.
Alex Zampier, Yale — Averaged 21 ppg in three games.
29 points, 5 assists and 5 steals vs. Quinnipiac.
