Alex Searle joins the Ivy staff as Public Information Coordinator after earning his master's degree in Sport Management/Business from the University of Florida in Gainesville.

While at Florida, Searle was actively involved, serving as a graduate assistant in the University's College of Health and Human Performance before being promoted to Assistant Director of Facilities/Operations. He also gained valuable experience in the athletic department, working closely with their successful football program. Specifically, he worked in the recruiting division from 2003-06 — a tenure that would shape the Gators' top-ranked Signing Day class in 2006 and many of the key contributors in the 2006-07 National Championship team (including quarterback Tim Tebow — the 2007 Heisman Trophy winner).

A fine athlete in his own right, Searle was a highly decorated high school soccer player in the state of Pennsylvania where he garnered First Team All-State honors in 1997 before earning scholarships to several schools, including Penn State University. His playing career cut short due to injuries, he would go on to graduate magna cum laude from West Chester University, receiving a B.S. in Education in 2003.

He will take on numerous responsibilities at the Ivy League that include, but are not limited to, being the main contact for field hockey and men's soccer in the fall, women’s basketball in the winter, as well as baseball and women’s lacrosse in the spring. He will also assist in the management of the League’s website and contribute to the League's seven championship events and contest scheduling.
