Leslie Gudel
YES Network Sideline Reporter |

Leslie Gudel will be the sideline reporter for the YES Network’s Ivy League football package for the 2002 season. A former sideline reporter for ABC College Football, Gudel is a familiar face in the Philadelphia region.
In August of 1997, she joined Comcast SportsNet, where she became the first female sports anchor in the city of Philadelphia. In addition to her primetime anchor duties on "SportsNITE," Leslie is a part of the Philadelphia Phillies telecast team as a roving reporter on game nights. She also hosts "NASCAR Garage," a weekly auto racing show on TNN.
Leslie began her career in sports as an intern at Primeticket, a regional sports station in L.A. It was during her time at Primeticket that she was encouraged to put a tape together showcasing her talent as a sports reporter. This tape landed Leslie her first on-air position, in Pocatello, Idaho.
She spent seven months at KIDK as sports anchor and reporter before she returned to Primeticket, which became Prime Sports. At Prime Sports, Leslie anchored and reported for "Press Box," a nightly sports news show that reached a national audience.
Gudel, 35, resides in South Jersey. When she is not covering sports, she enjoys traveling, playing golf and taking in sporting events as a fan. Last year, Leslie was named by Philadelphia Magazine as one of the eight personalities to watch out for in the year 2000.
