Since the Ivy League officially began play in the 1956-57 season, the League has won 43 NCAA team championships and 174 NCAA individual/event championships through the 2010-11 season.

In rowing, a single boat championship (e.g., fours, first varsity eight, second varsity eight) is considered one individual/event championship.
In swimming & diving and track & field, a championship in a relay event is considered one individual/event championship.
In tennis, a doubles championship is considered one individual/event championship.
