Since the Ivy League officially began play in the 1956-57 season, the League has won 46 NCAA team championships and 200 NCAA individual/event championships through the 2014-15 season.

In women's rowing, a single boat championship (e.g., varsity four, first varsity eight, second varsity eight) is considered one individual/event national championship.
In swimming & diving and track & field, a championship in a relay event is considered one individual/event national championship.
In tennis, a doubles championship is considered one individual/event national championship.
