Academic All-America

The College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) selects the Captial One Academic All-America® teams in 12 programs: men's soccer, women's soccer, football, women's volleyball, men's basketball, women's basketball, baseball, softball, men's at-large, women's at-large, men's cross country/track & field and women's cross country/track & field.

The eligible sports for the at-large programs are women's bowling, women's crew, men's and women's fencing, women's field hockey, men's and women's golf, men's and women's gymnastics, men's and women's ice hockey, men's and women's lacrosse, men's and women's rifle, men's and women's skiing, men's and women's swimming & diving, men's and women's tennis, men's volleyball, men's and women's water polo and men's wrestling.

To be nominated, a student-athlete must be a starter or important reserve with at least a 3.30 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) at his/her current institution and must have participated in at least 50 percent of the team’s games at the position listed, if applicable.

The Ivy League athletes have totaled 374 recognitions as Academic All-America through the 2010-11 academic year. Below is the League's all-time Academic All-America list by school:
