Opening Weekend of Ice Hockey Headlines Coverage on The Ivy League® Digital Network

PRINCETON, N.J. -- The start of the 2013-14 Ivy League men’s and women’s ice hockey campaigns highlight an entertaining weekend on The Ivy League® Digital Network, with all six teams appearing on the Network throughout the weekend.

The puck drops Friday afternoon with four Ivies taking part in the Liberty Hockey Inivtational at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J., home of the National Hockey League’s New Jersey Devils. Brown will take on defending NCAA champion No. 6/7 Yale at 4 p.m. followed by Dartmouth against Princeton at 7:05 p.m.

In addition to the hockey action, two Ivy women’s volleyball matches take center stage on Friday night with Princeton traveling to Penn and Dartmouth hosting Harvard. Both contests are scheduled for 7 p.m.

On Saturday, a variety of action over eight sports will be featured on the Network including three matchups in the first weekend of full Ivy vs. Ivy football contests. Brown heads to Ithaca, N.Y. to take on Cornell at 12:30 p.m. while Penn entertains Yale at 1 p.m. Dartmouth and Columbia square off at 1:30 p.m.

Sunday winds down the weekend with one contest, a field hockey battle between Columbia and Dartmouth battle at 12 p.m.

Packages for the school-specific channels, which feature live and on-demand video and audio content from available home and away contests across a variety of sports, are $89.95 for 12 months, $39.95 for four months, $10.95 for one month and $9.95 for a single day.
