Five Ivies Nominated for NCAA Women of the Year Award

The 2016 NCAA Woman of the Year nominees have been announced with five Ivies represented on the ballot. The NCAA Woman of the Year honor is selected based on ones contributions and personal successes in academics, athletics, service and leadership. The 2016 ballot has 517 nominees, the largest pool of athletes in the award’s 26-year history.

Ivy League women’s ice hockey standouts Kelsey Koelzer and Sydney Daniels were both selected in the 2016 National Women's Hockey League (NWHL) Draft that was held Saturday at the league headquarters in New York.

Five-time US National Team member Daria Schneider has been named the eighth head coach of women’s fencing at Cornell University it was announced today by Andy Noel, The Meakem* Smith Director of Athletics and Physical Education. At 29 years old, Schneider is currently the second youngest head coach of an NCAA Division I fencing program, behind only Lafayette College head coach Jarrod Rottau.
