Butler University partners with PrestoSports

ROCKVILLE, Md. - ButlerUniversity, an NCAA Division I member of the Horizon League locatedin Indianapolis, has partnered with PrestoSports for its athleticsweb site. Butler will transition its site content and design to PrestoSports next month. A full siteredesign will take place later this year.

PrestoSports will assist Butler University in a rapid cutoverfrom its current provider to the PrestoSports platform. The newathletics site will incorporate real-time statistics, an e-commercesolution and interactive elements such as Ask the AD.

Butler fields 19 intercollegiate sports. In the past decade,Butler teams have captured 26 conference championships. TheBulldogs have made appearances in NCAA National ChampionshipTournaments in men's and women's basketball, men's soccer,volleyball, men's cross country, lacrosse, and baseball. Butler wonthe James J. McCafferty trophy, awarded annually by the conferencefor all-sports excellence based on conference championship points,five times, including three-straight from 1996-97 to 1998-99 andback-to-back years in 2001-02 and 2002-03. The men's basketballprogram has captured the nation's attention with three consecutiveNCAA trips, 85 wins over the past three seasons and a top 25ranking for 12 consecutive weeks in 2008-09.
