ROCKVILLE, Md. - The University of New Hampshire has partnered with PrestoSports for its athletics web site. The new home of the Wildcats will launch later this summer.
"We're excited for the tremendous opportunity to work with the University of New Hampshire," says PrestoSports COO Patrick B. Summers. UNH's new site will launch with a unique new design and a number of innovative features which put athletics administrators in complete control of the look of and content of the web site. Some of the distinctive features include an interactive live statistics platform, links to tickets and promotion information and countdowns to upcoming UNH events.
"UNH is extremely excited to be part of PrestoSports' Division I expansion," says University of New Hampshire Associate Director of Athletic Media Relations Tom Wilkins. "The newly designed UNHWildcats.com will allow UNH to provide several new features including e-newsletters, mobile scores, auctions and a photo store. PrestoSports' platform will allow us to customize our athletic website to cater to the needs of our loyal fan base as well as parents and student-athletes."
The University of New Hampshire is a Learfield Directors' Cup Top 100 program, which fields teams in 20 sports and has a successful broad based athletic program. Men's sports include basketball, cross country, football, ice hockey, indoor track, outdoor track, skiing and soccer. Women's teams participate in basketball, cross country, field hockey, gymnastics, ice hockey, indoor track, lacrosse, outdoor track, skiing, soccer, swimming & diving and volleyball. New Hampshire is a charter member of the America East Conference, the Wildcats football team competes in the CAA, men's and women's ice hockey play in Hockey East, while gymnastics is in the EAGL and skiing competes in the EISA.
