Megan McHugo, in her second year as the Ivy League’s Compliance Coordinator, joined the Ivy League staff in June 2006 after obtaining her Master of Science degree in Sports Management from Florida State University, where she also served as a graduate assisant in the Athletic Compliance Office. During the summer of 2003 McHugo studied in Paris and London, completing the school’s Global Sport Management Program.

No stranger to college athletics, the Norwich, Vt., native lettered in three sports -- ice hockey, softball, and coed golf -- as an undergraduate at Bowdoin College while on her way to graduating magna cum laude from the Maine school with a degree in Classical Archaeology.

In her free time, McHugo is an avid golfer and a certified spinning instructor.

Her duties at the Ivy office consist of providing official interpretations of NCAA bylaws on a daily basis, serving as the editor of the Ivy League Compliance website, updating and posting important compliance information and issues for the League's compliance personnel, developing "Tips of the Month" for compliance staff, coaches and student-athletes and assisting in the administration of annual Coaches Certification Tests.
