VERSUS to Broadcast Ivy Football Games in 2010 & 2011
The Ivy League Office today announced an agreement with VERSUS, the fastest growing sports cable network in the country, to televise at least three football games for the 2010 and 2011 seasons, culminating each year with the Harvard vs. Yale game -- one of the most storied rivalries in sports.

Kent Austin, who spent five years as a successful coach in the Canadian Football League and the last two years as offensive coordinator at the University of Mississippi, has been named The Roger J. Weiss '61 Head Coach of Cornell Football.

Cornell's Jim Knowles to Lead Duke Defense
Jim Knowles '87 has resigned his position as The Roger J. Weiss '61 Coach of Football at Cornell and has accepted the defensive coordinator position at Duke University. He took over the position at his alma mater in January 2004, becoming the 25th head football coach at Cornell and posted a 26-34 record and a 16-26 mark in Ivy play in six years.

Penn senior quarterback Kyle Olson had a stellar day in a driving rainstorm in the Quakers' 17-7 win over Harvard to win a share of their first Ivy title in six seasons. Olson accounted for both of Penn's touchdowns, throwing for 159 yards and a touchdown on 14-of-24 passing, while also rushing for the game-winning touchdown.

This Saturday's Colgate at Dartmouth game has been added to the lineup for SIRIUS Satellite Radio's broadcast of the Ivy League Game of the Week. The game kicks off at 1:30 p.m. and can be heard on Sirius 129.

Ivy Weekly Football Report 8 - 11/2
Harvard junior running back Gino Gordon became the first player on record in school history to total 100 rushing and 100 receiving yards in a single game in the Crimson's 42-21 win over Dartmouth. Gordon tallied 222 yards and three touchdowns on just 12 touches, amassing all of his yardage in three quarters.
