PRINCETON, N.J. -- Ivy League football returns to VERSUS Oct. 15 with its only matinee game, a 3:30 p.m. start for Penn at Columbia, in its first of back-to-back Saturday appearances on the network.

The Penn-Columbia game from Robert K. Kraft Field at Lawrence A. Wien Stadium in New York is the Lions' homcoming and the League's second of five games on VERSUS this season. The remaining games have two-time defending champion Quakers welcoming Yale to Franklin Field next Saturday, Oct. 22 at Noon. Three weeks after, Penn travels to Harvard on Saturday, Nov. 12, for another Noon kickoff. The 128th edition of "The Game," Harvard at Yale, close out the schedule, also set for a Noon start on Saturday, Nov. 19.

VERSUS, to be re-branded the NBC Sports Network on Jan. 2, 2012, will bring the look and feel of NBC Sports production to all its college football coverage this season. The network is distributed in more than 75 million homes via most cable systems and satellite -- DirecTV (Channel 603), DISH Network (Channel 151) and Verizon FiOS (Channel 90 SD, Channel 590 in HD).

Randy Moss, a new member of NBC's award-winning horse racing team and contributor to the NFL Network, serves as the play-by-play announcer for the Ivy League games on VERSUS this season. He is joined in the booth by Ross Tucker as the lead analyst and on the sidelines by Carolyn Manno, sports reporter for Comcast SportsNet New England, as the in-game reporter.

The five-game slate marks the fourth-consecutive year Ivy League football airs on VERSUS as the network has televised 12 Ivy matchups featuring all eight schools over the past three seasons.
