Football Weekend Wrap-Up - November 5

It was a record setting day of Ivy League football as Brown's Mark Kachmer and Dartmouth's Nick Schwieger ran for career days and Harvard's Tim Murphy became the school's all-time leader in coaching wins. Here is a quick wrap-up of the Week 8 games:

Brown 34, Yale 28 [YES]
NEW HAVEN, Conn. --  Senior tailback Mark Kachmer scored three touchdowns and ran for 192 yards, including a Brown and Yale Bowl record 95-yard run from scrimmage, the fourth longest run in Ivy League football history, to lead Brown to a 35-28 Ivy League win over Yale Saturday afternoon.

Harvard 35, Columbia 21
NEW YORK -- Tim Murphy, the Thomas Stephenson Family head Coach for Harvard Football, became the school's all-time winningest football coach as his Crimson cruised past Columbia, 35-21, Saturday at Lawrence Wien Stadium.

Penn 37, Princeton 9
PHILADELPHIA -- The Quakers got touchdowns from Joe Holder and Jeff Jack in the first 30 minutes on a gorgeous Homecoming day at Franklin Field to roll to a 37-9 win over archrival Princeton.

Dartmouth 33, Cornell 24
HANOVER, N.H. -- Nick Schwieger ran for 257 yards (209 in the second half) to reclaim the single-game rushing record and help Dartmouth defeat visiting Cornell 33-24 on Saturday.
