PRINCETON, N.J. -- Ivy League football is back on VERSUS for a fourth-straight year, starting this Saturday, Sept. 24, at Noon with Cornell at Yale live from the Yale Bowl in New Haven, Conn.

VERSUS, to be re-branded the NBC Sports Network on Jan. 2, 2012, will bring the look and feel of NBC Sports production to all its college football coverage this season. The network is distributed in more than 75 million homes via most cable systems and satellite -- DirecTV (Channel 603), DISH Network (Channel 151) and Verizon FiOS (Channel 90 SD, Channel 590 in HD).

Saturday's Cornell-Yale matchup is the first of five Ivy League football games on VERSUS for the 2011 season. Two-time defending champion Penn makes its first of three-straight appearances, beginning on Saturday, Oct. 15, on the road at Columbia for the Lions' homecoming in the only 3:30 p.m. start on the slate. The Quakers welcome Yale to Franklin Field on Saturday, Oct. 22, and, then three weeks later, travel to Harvard on Saturday, Nov. 12, in games set for Noon kickoffs. The 128th edition of "The Game," Harvard at Yale, is also set for a Noon start on Saturday, Nov. 19, to close out the schedule.

Randy Moss, a new member of NBC's award-winning horse racing team and contributor to the NFL Network, will serve as the play-by-play announcer for all VERSUS Ivy League games and will be joined in the booth by Ross Tucker as lead analyst. Akbar Gbaja-Biamila, who starred at San Diego State and spent four years in the National Football League, will serve as a sideline analyst for the Cornell-Yale game. Carolyn Manno, sports reporter for Comcast SportsNet New England, will serve as in-game reporter for the remaining four games.

The five-game slate marks the fourth-consecutive year Ivy League football airs on VERSUS as the network has televised 12 Ivy matchups featuring all eight schools over the past three seasons.
