PRINCETON, N.J. -- To kickoff the 2011 football season, the Ivy League Office is launching a weekly online radio show, "Inside Ivy League Football," which will premier Wednesday, Sept. 14 at 7 p.m.
"Inside Ivy League Football" will take an in-depth look
at all the on-field gridiron action and all the news and notes
surrounding Ivy football. The 10-episode show will air Wednesdays
at 7 p.m. on BlogTalkRadio.com
(blogtalkradio.com/insideivyleaguefootball). It will be available
on-demand via BlogTalkRadio and

Each episode will be packed with highlights, statistics and expert
analysis in its 'The Week in Review' and 'Saturday Spotlight'

Award Winner Interview' and 'Alumni Focus,' the show will visit
with past and present players, coaches and administrators who
impact Ivy football.
Fans and alumni will be able to interact with "Inside"
via its social media platforms -- Facebook (Inside Ivy League Football) and Twitter
(@insideivyfb) -- as well as provide ideas and content for the
show's 'Twitter Talk/Facebook Fodder' segment.
Selected episodes will feature Ivy football trivia with chances to
win Ivy League-branded merchandise or a gift certificate to the
League's official online store at shop.ivyleaguesports.com.
"Inside Ivy League Football is a vehicle to promote the
Ivy League football brand and further engage our fans and alumni
who are so passionate about the sport and the schools they follow
closely," said Scottie Rodgers, Ivy League
Associate Executive Director, Communications.
The show will be hosted by two veteran Ivy broadcasters,
Dan Loney and Brian Seltzer.
Loney serves on the broadcast team for Princeton University
football, primarily as the color analyst. He has been behind the
microphone for more than 2,500 professional, college and high
school games in his nearly 20-year broadcasting career. Loney also
serves as freelance on-air talent delivering business news for the
Wall Street Radio Network, Dow Jones Radio Network and various
radio stations throughout the country.
Seltzer is the primary play-by-play voice for Penn football and
men's basketball. A 2007 Penn graduate, he served as the
Philadelphia Eagles beat reporter for WPEN (97.5 FM The Fanatic/950
AM ESPN) during his senior year, earning two Philadelphia
Achievement in Radio (A.I.R.) awards in the Best Sports Reporting
category for his coverage. In 2010, Seltzer added duties as the
play-by-play broadcaster for the Reading Phillies, the Double-A
affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies.
The Sept. 14 premiere episode of "Inside Ivy League
Football" will feature interviews with Al
Bagnoli, head coach of the two-time defending champion
Penn Quakers; Dartmouth senior tailback Nick
Schwieger, the 2010 Ivy League Co-Player of the Year, and
Ivy League Executive Director Robin Harris.
