PRINCETON, N.J. -- One of the most storied
rivalries in college football, Yale at Harvard, highlights the Ivy
League's final football Saturday of the 2012 season. "The Game"
kicks off Nov. 17 at Noon on the NBC Sports Network.
The Ancient Eight foes are meeting for the 129th time and for the
fifth-straight year on the network previously branded as VERSUS
before this season. Harvard enters "The Game" on a five-game
winning streak against Yale, while the Bulldogs own the 65-55-8
series lead. Randy Moss and Ross
Tucker will again on the call from Harvard Stadium with
Carolyn Manno reporting from the sidelines.
Ivy League football serves as the appetizer once again to NBC
Sports' college football Saturday. No. 3 Notre Dame tries to keep
its national championship hopes alive hosting Wake Forest at 3:30
p.m. on NBC. NBC Sports' college football studio show, featuring
1984 Heisman Trophy Winner Doug Flutie and
two-time Super Bowl champion Hines Ward, and
co-hosted by Liam McHugh and Jimmy
Roberts, will provide pregame, halftime and postgame
coverage.
Colorado State at Boise State follows Yale-Harvard on the NBC Sports Network at 3:30 p.m. A Colonial Athletic Association battle between Old Dominion and James Madison from Bridgeforth Stadium in Harrisonburg, Va. caps off the college football programming for NBCSN at 7 p.m.
In other Ivy League gridiron action, Penn looks to secure the 2012 League title outright on the road against Cornell at 12:30 p.m., Brown welcomes Columbia at 12:30 p.m. and Princeton hosts Dartmouth at 1 p.m. in a game that can be seen live on Verizon FiOS1.
