Ford-Centonze Takes Over Dartmouth Women’s XC
Dartmouth head women’s track and field coach Sandy Ford-Centonze returns as the head coach for its women’s cross country program this fall, in addition to her duties that she has had for the last 18 years.
Tiger Women Finish Fifth at Nationals
The Princeton Tigers finished fifth at the NCAA Women’s Cross Country Championship for the second straight year. Senior Liz Costello was the first member of the Orange and Black across the finish line, taking 18th in 20:25.
All-Ivy Cross Country — 2009-10
The All-Ivy teams for men's and women's cross country were determined at the Ivy Heps Championships on Friday. Harvard junior Daniel Chenoweth (pic.) took first place in the men's race en route to a first team All-Ivy nod.
Columbia Comes Through
Princeton's bid for a fourth straight men's Heps championship came to a narrow end as the Columbia Lions, led by a fifth-place finish from Brendan Martin, defeated the Tigers by a single point. The 60-61 score was the closest Heps finish since 1972.
Princeton Women Do It Again; Make History
The Princeton women's cross country team just captured its fourth consecutive Heps title with a perfect score for the first time in history. Tiger senior Liz Costello took the individual crown, becoming only the second female three-time champ ever.
New Hardware for Ivy XC Champions
For the first time ever, the team champions of the Ivy League Cross Country Men's and Women's races will be able to bring back some hardware back to campus. Dedicated on May 12th, 2009, the new trophies will be up for grabs on Friday at Van Cortlandt Park. Fans of the Ivy League will surely recognize the trophy's namesakes.

XC Heps Returns to Van Cortlandt on Friday
The Ivy League cross country championships return to New York City's historic Van Cortlandt Park this Friday, October 30, with the women's race kicking things off at 11:15 am and the men following suit at 12:15 pm. Princeton's Liz Costello looks to become the first three-time women's Heps champion in 25 years.
Tigers Fifth at NCAA Cross Country Championships
The Princeton women’s cross country team made program history, finishing fifth at the NCAA Championship on Monday, Nov. 24. The Tigers previous highest finish the championship was a nine-place finish in 2003.

Princeton lived up to its lofty No. 4 ranking on Friday, winning the women's Ivy League Heptagonals Cross Country Championship by a wide margin. The Tigers — who won with 42 last season — posted a team score of 25 points, the lowest since Dartmouth had 23 in 1997.
