The Ivy League office announced today that the 2010 Ivy League Men’s and Women’s Golf Championships will be played April 23-25 at the world-renowned Baltusrol Golf Club in Springfield, N.J.

GCAA Tabs Six Ivies to PING All-Northeast Team
The Golf Coaches Association of America recently announced selections for 2009 All-Region and All-America teams. In all, six Ivy League Men's golfers were named to the PING All-Northeast team, including Dartmouth freshman Peter Williamson, the 2009 Ivy League Men's champion.

Freshman Peter Williamson became the fourth Dartmouth golfer to win the men's golf title by claiming the 2009 Ivy League Men’s Golf Championship in a three-hole playoff. His play earned both Player and Rookie of the Year awards.

Columbia won the 2008 Ivy League Men's Golf Championship today, beating Yale by nine strokes at Galloway National. It is the second Ivy title in program history, with the first coming in 1999. Penn junior Michael Blodgett became the first Quaker to win the individual title.

After a long 36-hole day of golf, the men of Columbia lead Penn by five strokes heading into the final round of play. Harvard freshman Greg Shuman leads the 40-man field, shooting a 72 in each of the first two rounds.
