PRINCETON, N.J. -- The second full weekend of Ivy League men’s basketball is packed with pivotal matchups as the schedule moves into the frenzy of February as the prelude to the madness of March.

Since the preseason predictions, this weekend has been circled as Harvard and Princeton meet for the first time. The Friday night showdown at Jadwin Gym will be televised live on ESPNU and is the Ivy League Game of the Week on SIRIUS Satellite Radio Channel 130. The game against the Ivy unbeatens will feature teams that both have four players with scoring averages in doubles figures.

The next night, Harvard will face a streaking Penn team that enters the weekend on a three-game winning streak and is off its first 2-0 Ivy record since the 2007-08 season.

Columbia will look to remain a factor in the League title hunt on the road for the second-straight weekend at Brown Friday night and at Yale Saturday night. The Lions were the only road team to win a game during the first full weekend and hope to continue their recent success having won four of their last five games.

CO-PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
Harvard junior forward Kyle Casey (Medway, Mass.) had a big weekend for the Crimson on both sides of the ball, helping Harvard to a 4-0 start in league play for the first time since 1990-91. Casey scored 17 points and came down with 13 rebounds, including 11 on the defensive end, as Harvard topped Columbia. On the next night vs. Cornell, he was one rebound short of a second-straight double-double with 16 points and nine boards adding two blocks and one assist on one field goal.

Eggleston scored 12 points in the final 9:15 of the second half, helping Penn overcome an eight-point deficit during that time, then scored the first five points in OT to give the Quakers a lead they would not relinquish. He led Penn with eight rebounds, all on the defensive glass, and added 13 points on 6-of-11 shooting in the win over Yale.
