CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- For the second-straight year, Ivy League men's basketball will be featured on ESPN3 as the Saturday, Feb. 25 matchup between Penn and Harvard will be broadcasted live at 7 p.m. from Lavietes Pavilion.
Dave Weekley will handle the play-by-play duties, while John Celestand will serve as the analyst.
The game, which is sold out, will feature a Harvard team that stands 23-3 overall and 9-1 in the Ivy League, good for first place in the conference, while Penn, currently in second place, enters the week 7-2 in the Ancient Eight and 15-11 overall. Two Harvard victories this week against Princeton and Penn would clinch at least a share of the Ivy League title for the Crimson.
Harvard has tied the program record with its 23 victories this season and has won 27 straight home contests, the second longest active streak in the country.
The League received three late-season appearances on ESPN3 during the 2010-11 season -- March 5 Princeton at Harvard (Harvard won 79-67), March 8 Princeton at Penn (Princeton won 70-58) and March 12 Princeton vs. Harvard (Princeton won 63-62) in the Ivy League playoff in New Haven, Conn.
