PRINCETON, N.J. -- Ivy League men's basketball gets its first and only CBS Sports Network appearance on Saturday, Feb. 23 as Yale (10-15, 4-4 Ivy League) hosts Harvard (15-7, 7-1 Ivy) in a 8 p.m. tipoff from the John J. Lee Amphitheater in New Haven, Conn.
The two rivals known for annually playing "The Game" in football had a game on the hardwood earlier this season as the Crimson escaped with a 67-64 win on Feb. 1 on its home floor. The return matchup is poised to be the same with Don Criqui and Alaa Abdelnaby on the call.
CBS Sports Network's college basketball coverage starts the day with an Atlantic 10 matchup between No. 24-ranked VCU and Xavier at 2 p.m. Brad Johansen and Steve Wolf are slated to call the action from Cintas Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.
The network's studio programming on Saturday features INSIDE COLLEGE BASKETBALL from 6:30-8 p.m. and its AT THE HALF halftime show. Adam Zucker hosts, joined by analysts Wally Szczerbiak and Pete Gillen, as well as insider Jon Rothstein.
The Harvard-Yale men's basketball matchup on the CBS Sports Network comes as part of the Ivy League's agreement with the NBC Sports Network and is a part of CBS Sports Network's most extensive slate ever -- 172 live college basketball games in the network's 10th season carrying live hoops action.
The remaining Ancient Eight schedule for Saturday has Dartmouth at Brown getting underway at 6 p.m. and Penn at Columbia and Princeton at Cornell both starting at 7 p.m.
