PRINCETON, N.J. -- Ivy League men's basketball enjoys a brief hiatus from the courts this week with a seven-day break before a four-pack games highlight on a Saturday slate.

The other half of the League opens conference play as Columbia hosts Cornell at Levien Gymnasium and Yale welcomes Brown to John J. Lee Amphitheater in a couple of tilts on The Ivy League® Digital Network.

Dartmouth closes out its non-League ledger with a trip to the Big Apple to take on St. John’s in a nationally-televised matchup on FOX Sports 1. Penn concludes its Big 5 schedule against Saint Joseph's to cap off busy day around The Palestra, which will host ESPN College GameDay that morning and the La Salle-Temple game at Noon.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Penn senior forward Fran Dougherty (New Britain, Pa.) came up big as his upset-minded Quakers ended a seven-game skid with win over Princeton to open Ivy League play. Doughtery posted his second double-double this season and the sixth career with 17 points and 12 rebounds to go along with two assists and two steals. His 17 points were a career high in an Ivy game and his 12 boards were one shy of an overall career high. Dougherty has scored in double figures in his last four games (16.5 ppg in that span) and led Penn in rebounding in his last three games (10.0 rpg in that span).
