CHERRY HILL, N.J. -- All eight Ivy League men's rowing crews will be represented at the 109th Intercollegiate Rowing Association (IRA) Regatta with a chance to win the Varsity Challenge Cup and Ten Eyck Trophy.
The 2011 IRA Regatta will be will be June 2-4 on the Cooper River in Cherry Hill, N.J.
In the varsity eight, the following 18 schools received invitations to compete for the IRA National Championship, and have the option of also entering a second varsity eight, freshmen eight, varsity four, and open four:

Cornell
Dartmouth
Georgetown
Gonzaga
Harvard
Navy
Penn
Princeton
Stanford
Syracuse
UC San Diego
Washington
Wisconsin
Yale
After its near sweep at the 2011 EARC
Sprints, Harvard enters the regatta as favorite to bring the Ivy
League its first IRA heavyweight title since 2005.
The Ivy League will comprise six of the eight schools contesting the Lightweight Men’s Eight National Championship. The accepted crews are:
Columbia
Cornell
Dartmouth
Harvard
Navy
Mercyhurst
Princeton
Yale
In the lightweights, Princeton looks to three-peat as national
champion while Harvard is in postion to cap off its season with its
first IRA lightweight title since 2003.
