North Dakota Stymies Tiger Attack in NCAA Hockey
The final score sheet will show that North Dakota defeated Princeton men's hockey 5-1 in the first round of the NCAA Regional, but Princeton doubled the Fighting Sioux in shots and carried the play against the region's top seed for most of the day.

Princeton Men's Hockey Gear Up for NCAA Regional
The Tigers are making their second appearance in the NCAA Tournament this weekend when it heads to Madison to take on North Dakota. Wisconsin and Denver will meet in the other game, with the two winners playing for a Frozen Four berth.

Ivy Champion Princeton Wins ECAC Tourney; NCAA Berth
The Princeton Tigers men's hockey team defeated the Harvard Crimson, 4-1, to win the ECAC Hockey Tournament. By virtue of the victory, the Ivy champions received the at-large bid to the NCAAs and will play No. 3 North Dakota in Madison, Wisc. on March 29.

Three Ivies In ECAC Semis
The 2008 Bank of America ECAC Hockey Championship is down to its last four - three from the Ivy League - and they will gather at the Times Union Center in Albany, N.Y., to determine the conference tournament's 47th champion, starting this afternoon.

All-Ivy Men's Ice Hockey 2007-08
Princeton enjoyed its first outright Ivy hockey championship since 1953 (shared title in 1999) and to the victor go the spoils as the Tigers' Lee Jubinville took Player of the Year honors. Cornell's Riley Nash was selected as the Rookie of the Year.

Dartmouth's Devine Recognized by Sports Illustrated
Mike Devine, the goalie for the Dartmouth men's ice hockey team has been recognized in the 'Faces in the Crowd' section of the Feb. 20, 2008 issue of Sports Illustrated. The senior was recognized for a series of feats, including his exploits in an upset over then No. 5 New Hampshire.

Cornell Alumnus Iggulden Called to NHL Action
Former Cornell men's hockey player Mike Iggulden made his NHL debut on Monday afternoon, playing for the San Jose Sharks in their 3-2 loss to the New York Islanders at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, N.Y.

Jeremiah to be Honored as Hobey Baker Legend
The Hobey Baker Memorial Award Foundation recently announced the 2008 Legends of Hockey recipient will be Eddie Jeremiah. Coaching Dartmouth College for 29 season, "Jerry" guided the Big Green to NCAA finals in 1948 and 1949 and captured Ivy League titles in 1959 and 1960.

Princeton Men Skate to Ivy Championship
Freshman Matt Arhontas scored two goals as the 17th-ranked Princeton men's hockey team defeated Dartmouth 5-2 over the weekend. In doing so, the Tigers clinched the first outright Ivy League title in the history of school's program.

Ivies Looking Strong in ECAC Hockey
As the ECAC ice hockey regular season enters its final month, the Ivy League is being well represented in both the women's and men's competition. The No. 1 Harvard women are 17-1 on the year while the Princeton men currently sit in second place after sporting a 5-0 Ivy record thus far.

Ivies Dominate ECAC Hockey League Weekly Honors
Ivy League men's and women's hockey dominated the ECACHL honors this week, taking home all but one of the weekly accolades. Leading the way was Yale freshman forward Sean Backman, who was named both Player & Rookie of the Week.

NHL Camps Include 33 League Alums
ECAC Hockey League research has revealed that 33 former Ivy League student-athletes are among those battling for 2007-08 roster spots on the 30 National Hockey League teams. NHL training camps opened September 10.
