HANOVER, N.H. -- The Dartmouth men's hockey team will be hosting its annual toy drive for the Children's Hospital at Dartmouth (CHaD) with fans having an opportunity to donate during two games. The first time will be the Harvard game on Saturday, Nov. 27 at 7 p.m. and the second will be the Vermont game on Sunday, Dec. 12 at 4 p.m.
Fans are encouraged to bring any new, unwrapped toys to the tables provided at Thompson Arena. For any fan that brings a toy they will have an opportunity to register for prizes donated by the men's hockey team. Items will be raffled off during the game.
The toys will be given away by the team when it makes its special trip to CHaD in December. "We really enjoy our visit to CHaD and the opportunity to give back to the community," said senior captain Scott Fleming. "It's nice to see our fans come out and support not only us but our toy drive and of course, CHaD. It's an even better time when we go together as a team and spend the day with the kids."
