Four Ivy Teams Move On to ECAC Men's Hockey Tournament Quarterfinals

ALBANY, N.Y. -- Harvard was the lone Ivy League team to survive the first-round series of the 2011 ECAC Men's Hockey Championship, upsetting seventh-seeded Clarkson on the road. The Crimson joins No. 2 Yale, No. 3 Dartmouth and No. 4 Cornell in the best-of-three quarterfinal round March 11-13.

Harvard travels to New Haven, Conn., to take on three-time defending Ivy champion Yale while Dartmouth hosts 11th-seeded St. Lawrence, which upset No. 6 Princeton, and Cornell welcomes fifth-seeded Colgate. Every game in all four quarterfinal series begin at 7 p.m.

Princeton won 4-1 in the first game of the best-of-three first-round series with St. Lawrence but the Saints bounced back with consecutive one-goal wins at upend the sixth-seeded Tigers. Brown, the tournament's No. 9 seed, was held scoreless in back-to-back 4-0 losses to eighth-seeded Quinnipiac.
