Ivy Teams Vie for ECAC Men's Hockey Tournament Title

ALBANY, N.Y. -- All six Ivy League teams are vying for the 2011 ECAC Men's Hockey Championship with three -- Brown, Harvard and Princeton -- opening tournament play March 4-6 in the best-of-three, first-round series.

Sixth-seeded Princeton hosts No. 11 St. Lawrence while ninth-seeded Brown is on the road at No. Quinnipiac and 10th-seeded Harvard travels to No. 7 Clarkson. All three open Friday, March 4 at 7 p.m. Princeton's Saturday and if necessary Sunday games are at 4 p.m. while both of Brown's games are slated for 7 p.m. Harvard's Saturday game is scheduled for 7 p.m. and its if necessary third game on Sunday is set for 4 p.m.

The 12-team tournament field also features second-seeded Yale, third-seeded Dartmouth and fourth-seeded Cornell, which received byes to the quarterfinal round at on-campus sites Friday-Sunday, March 11-13.

The championship semifinals, third-place and championship games take place Friday-Saturday, March 18-19 at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, N.J. The CBS Sports Network will broadcast the semifinal and championship games.
