PRINCETON, N.J. -- Three teams are within one point of each other, creating a logjam atop the Ivy League men's soccer standings.

Brown sits atop the league standings with Dartmouth and Cornell sitting one point behind. The teams will play each other over the next two weeks with Cornell hosting Dartmouth this Saturday night and Brown visiting Dartmouth on November 9 in a match that will be televised by Fox Soccer Channel and will have some measure in determining the Ivy League champion.

In what began as a four-team logjam at the start of the weekend, Cornell created a little separation atop the standings on Saturday with a 1-0 win over Princeton, handing the Tigers their first league loss of the season. Daniel Haber scored the only goal of the match and goalkeeper Rick Pflasterer made it stand up, recording his fourth shutout of the season.

Brown, meanwhile, held onto the top spot in the standings with a 1-0 win at Penn. Ben Maurey scored off a rebound just 3:59 into the match and Sam Kernan-Schloss made eight saves to preserve the shutout. Kernan-Schloss dropped his goals against average to an Ancient Eight-best 0.45 and bumped up his League-best save percentage to .863 in the effort. It was his ninth shutout of the year, also tops in the League.

Dartmouth kept pace with Cornell and stayed within a point of Brown with a 3-1 win over Harvard. The Big Green scored twice in the final 14 minutes of the match to break a 1-1 deadlock. Alex Adelabu had a hand in all three Dartmouth goals, including a goal and an assist late in the match. Jake Freeman scored Harvard's goal 8:37 into the contest.

Yale and Columbia played to a 1-1 tie. Henning Sauerbier scored Columbia's goal, while Scott Armbrust scored for Yale. Yale defender Tyler Detorie made a sliding save to knock away a potential gamewinner in the final minutes of regulation time and preserve the tie.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Dartmouth's Alex Adelabu (Houston, Texas) had a hand in all three goals as the Big Green downed Harvard, 3-1, on Saturday. After falling behind early, Adelabu scored midway through the first half to tie the match, then scored what wound up the game winner with 13:06 to play. He also added an assist on an insurance marker a little over five minutes later.

It was Adelabu's second multiple goal game of the year. He leads the Big Green with nine goals and 21 points on the season.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Yale's Tyler Detorie (Canton, Conn.) played all 110 minutes for the Bulldog defense and made the key play to preserve a 1-1 tie with Columbia on Saturday.
Detorie slid at the goal line to clear away Henning Sauerbier's shot with a little over a minute to play in regulation. Sauerbier, who scored Columbia's goal in the first half, had dribbled past goalkeeper Bobby Thalman and appeared to have an open goal to shoot at. But Detorie knocked away the effort to preserve the tie.
