NSCAA Team Academic Awards Announced; All Eight League Schools Represented
NSCAA Team Academic Award Release
KANSAS CITY, Kan. -- All eight Ivy League
schools were represented on the National Soccer Coaches Association
of America (NSCAA) Team Academic Awards list for the 2011-12
campaign, announced Friday.
A total of 722 college soccer teams (221, 501 women) posted a team
grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the NSCAA
Team Academic Award for the 2011-12 academic year.
Of the 722 total honorees, 150 schools had both their men’s
and women’s programs recognized, including Columbia,
Dartmouth, Harvard, Penn and Princeton. Those squads were joined by
the Brown men’s team, the Cornell women’s team and the
Yale men’s team.
