Five Men’s Squash Teams Set Sights on 2011 Potters Cup

PRINCETON, N.J. -- Five Ivy League men's squash teams will take to the squash courts on Friday in pursuit of the 2011 Potters Cup, which will be awarded to the men's National Team Champion after this weekend's championship draw is played out on Feb. 25th – 27th.

The five Ivy teams who made it into the top bracket (A Division) include second-seeded Yale, third-seeded Princeton, fifth-seeded Cornell, sixth-seeded Harvard and seventh-seeded Dartmouth. Cornell faces Rochester in the first round, while Princeton takes on Harvard and Dartmouth plays Yale. Based on the draw, at least two semifinalists and one finalist will be an Ivy League team.  

In the B Division, 12th-seeded Brown faces St. Lawrence in the first round, while 10th-seeded Penn takes on Bates. After completing its first season as a varsity program, the Columbia Lions have been placed in the C Division and will square off against Wesleyan in the first round.
 
Matches will be played at Harvard, MIT, Northeastern, Belmont Hill, and the Union Boat Club.
