PRINCETON, N.J. -- Ivy League men's tennis is in full swing in fall tournament play with four schools set to send representatives to the 2012 ITA Men's All-American Championships in Tulsa, Okla.

Princeton senior Matija Pecotic in singles and Columbia sophomores Ashok Narayana and Max Schur in doubles will represent the League in the event's main draws, which run Oct. 4-7, at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center. Narayana, fellow Lion Winston Lin, Harvard's Denis Nguyen and Yale's John Huang and Daniel Hoffman will be action in the qualifying singles bracket Oct. 1-3 vying to advance to the main draw. Huang and Hoffman will be also competing as duo in the qualifying doubles bracket.

Pecotic, the two-time Ivy League Player of the Year, has started strong in his senior campaign  winning the top singles and doubles flights at both the Farnsworth/Princeton Invitational and the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center Men's College Invitational. On his home courts, Pecotic defeated Lin 7-6(2), 6-4 to win the Tiger Draw, the top singles flight. He teamed with sophomore Zack McCourt to defeat Huang and Patrick Chase 8-4 to win the doubles "A" flight. At the National Tennis Center, Pecotic took the "A" singles and No. 1 doubles, again with McCourt, titles.

Fellow Tiger Michael Lin was also a two-time winner in Queens with the "G" singles title and the No. 4 doubles title with sophomore Ben Quazzo. Columbia freshman Dragos Ignat captured the singles "B" title over another Tiger, Matthew Spindler. Harvard freshman Kelvin Lam took the singles "C" flight on the strength of an upset win over the top-seed and St. John senior Mike Lampa.

Brown sophomores Jacob Laser and Michael Riechmann claimed the No. 2 doubles flight at the USTA BJK NTC Invite. Riechmann opened the fall with a single draw win at the Brown Invitational that saw the Bears capture three singles flights and one doubles title.

Narayana and Schur, along with fellow Lions Daniel Morgan and Bert Vancura, began tournament play with singles flight wins at the Farnsworth/Princeton Invitational.
