Tennis Ivies Take on the Nation at USTA-ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate

FLUSHING, N.Y. -- The Ivy League will once
again have a presence among the top singles players and doubles
teams in the country at the 2012 USTA/ITA National Indoor
Intercollegiate Championships on Nov. 8-11.
Columbia sophomores Winston Lin and Ashok
Narayana and Princeton senior Matija
Pecotic in singles and Narayana and Max
Schnur and Lin and Bert Vancura in
doubles on the men's side and Columbia senior Nicole
Bartnik and Princeton freshman Amanda
Muliawan in singles and Columbia junior duo of
Bianca Sanon and Tiana Takenaga
and Penn's twosome of sophomore Sol Eskenazi and
freshman Sonya Latycheva in doubles on the women's
side are slated to compete at the Billie Jean King National Tennis
Center in the four-day event hosted by Columbia.
Each bracket will feature the top-32 singles players and top-20
doubles teams who gained automatic entry into the tournament by
winning titles as the USTA/ITA Division I Regional Championships
held across the country in October or the USTA/ITA National Small
College Super Bowl, as well as consolation champions, doubles
finalists, men's singles quarterfinalists and women's singles
semifinalists from the ITA Men's and Riviera/ITA Women's
All-American Championships.
