PRINCETON, N.J. -- The battle for the 2010 Ivy League Outdoor Heptagonal Championships will take place this weekend, Saturday, May 8 & Sunday, May 9 at Weaver Track and Field Stadium on the campus of Princeton University in Princeton, N.J.

The Cornell Big Red is the defending champs on the men's side, while the host Princeton Tiger women look to go for the Heps sweep after winning the indoor event at Dartmouth this past winter and its fourth consecutive cross country championship this fall at Van Cortlandt Park.

Last season, a total of seven Ivy Leaguers earned All-America status at the NCAA Outdoor Championships in Fayetteville, Ark. Among All-American returnees at this year's Heps is Brown junior Craig Kinsley, who was the highest finisher of any Ivy Leaguer, placing third in the javelin at nationals. Also returning is Princeton junior Sarah Cummings, who finished 12th in the 10,000-meter run and earned All-America status from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
