EUGENE, Ore. -- The 2017 NCAA Men’s Outdoor Track & Field Championship concluded on Friday with yet another All-American for the Ivy League.

Friday saw the final Ivy competitor on the men’s side, as Harvard senior Efe Uwaifo finished 15th in the triple jump to earn second-team All-America status. He is just the second Crimson in program history to earn All-America distinction in the outdoor triple jump and the first since Samyr Laine placed seventh in 2005.

Uwaifo is the sixth Ivy to earn All-America status for Ivy Heps on the men’s side. Cornell led the Ivy teams with a 26th-place finish for the second-straight year. All 10 points came from senior Rudy Winkler, who won the national championship in the hammer throw on Wednesday.

The 2017 NCAA Outdoor Championships officially conclude with the final day of the women’s competition on Saturday.
