Seven Ivy League Men's Cross Country Squads Ranked In The USTFCCCA Preseason Polls

NEW ORLEANS -- The Princeton men’s cross
country team is ranked No. 21 in the country and Columbia is close
behind at No. 27 in the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country
Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) preseason coaches’ poll.
Dartmouth found itself in the receiving votes category of the
rankings.
The Tigers, ranked third in the Mid-Atlantic Region, have won
five of the last six Ivy League championships, including the last
two. Penn came in at No. 13 in the Mid-Atlantic.
Five League squads found themselves among the top-10 in the
Northeast Region poll, including the Lions at No. 3 and the Big
Green at No. 5, followed by Cornell (No. 6), Brown (No. 7) and
Harvard (No. 9).
All eight teams will be in action when the season kicks off over
the weekend of Sept. 7-9.
