Harvard's Lange, Brown and Cornell's Bucolo Earn Final Softball Weekly Honors

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Kasey Lange (Ladera Ranch, Calif.) finished her rookie regular-season campaign in a stellar note, helping Harvard to a sweep of Dartmouth and earning her second Player of the Week award for the 2011 season. Lange started the series with a three-run homer, and two runs scored as the Crimson took game one, 8-1. She went 4-for-4 in game two Saturday in Hanover, scoring two more runs and driving one in. Lange popped her second home run of the weekend in a 3-for-4 showing Sunday in game one and ended game two with a two-run blast to center, picking up four RBIs in the series finale. She slugged a daunting 1.375 for the week and played error-free at third base for the Crimson. Lange hasn't struck out since April 9 against Cornell, a span of 17 games.
