Three Ivy Softball Teams and 20 Ivy Players Earn NFCA Academic Honors

PRINCETON, N.J. -- The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) recently announced the 2010-11 NFCA All-Academic Teams and the 2010-11 All-America Scholar Athletes. Within Division I, three teams represented the Ivy League including Yale, Harvard and Cornell. Yale led the way for the Ivies with a No. 15 ranking.

Twenty Ivy League softball players were named All-America Scholar Athletes by the NFCA as well. The award is given to any softball player submitted by a member coach who achieved a 3.50 grade point average or higher during the 2010-11 academic year.
