PRINCETON, N.J. -- The first full weekend of Ivy League play gets underway Friday with four games scheduled for 7 p.m. Defending champion Princeton returns from a 28-day break at Brown, which is looking for its first Ivy win of the year. Penn also seeks its first Ivy win of the season at 2-0 Yale, which swept its season-series against Brown for the first time since 2007-08. Columbia hosts Harvard and Cornell hosts Dartmouth — the third Ivy squad still in the early hunt for a League win.
On Saturday, the same four teams remain on the road, swapping opponents with their travel partners. Princeton is at Yale, Penn is at Brown, Harvard is at Cornell and Dartmouth is at Columbia.
While the majority of the all-time series records on the line today are fairly even, two match-ups stand out as historically hugely in favor of one team. The Crimson hold a 47-2 all-time record against the Lions, including all 24 meetings in Levien Gymnasium. The Big Green also hold a significant 39-9 all-time edge against the Lions. However, Columbia earned the win in the teams' last meeting, a thrilling 66-59 overtime victory in New York last year.
