PRINCETON, N.J. -- Harvard sophomore guard
Christine Clark (Tucson, Ariz.) and Brown senior
forward Aileen Daniels (Waldwick, N.J.) were named
Ivy League Co-Players of the Week, the conference announced Monday.
Penn freshman Kara Bonenberger (Walnutport, Pa.)
was named Rookie of the Week.
For Clark, the award marks her first career Player of the Week
honor. The sophomore was named Rookie of the Week three times (Nov.
22; Dec. 6; Feb. 21) during the 2010-11 season. She led Harvard to
its first win of the season during a 1-1 week, averaging 17.5
points, 7.0 rebounds, 2.0 steals and 1.5 assists in the two games.
Clark finished one rebound shy of a double-double in the
Crimson’s 69-57 win over Rhode Island, tallying 18 points and
nine boards. She now ranks second in the Ivy League in scoring,
averaging 18.0 points per contest.

Daniels received her first-ever League weekly award. She guided
Brown to a 2-1 week, contributing 10.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.0
assists and 1.0 steals in the three games. Daniels was named Dead
River Company Classic MVP after averaging 14.5 points, 6.5
rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.0 blocks in wins over Evansville and
Maine. She shot 12-of-20 (.600) in the two contests.

Bonenberger helped the Quakers improve to 3-1 for the first time
since the 1982-83 season, averaging 8.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, 1.5
steals and 1.0 assists in two games last week. She finished with
seven boards and five points in Penn’s loss at La Salle and
then came two-rebounds shy of a double-double with 11 points and
eight boards in the Quakers’ win at Niagara.
