Women's Basketball Preview for February 9-10

PRINCETON, N.J. -- The second week of back-to-back Ivy League women's basketball action should provide some insight as to who will remerge victorious after the 14-game tournament.

Last week, Dartmouth and Harvard each swept Brown and Yale and Penn and Princeton each defeated both Cornell and Columbia. The squads that went 2-0 last weekend will trade opponents for this week's action. The Tigers and Quakers will travel to Brown and Yale, while the Big Green and Crimson will host Cornell and Columbia.

The team in first-place in the standings, Princeton (12-5, 3-0 Ivy), does not show any signs of letting up, as it holds a 27-game conference winning streak, second only in the country to No. 1 Baylor, which has won 33-straight regular season conference games.

The Tigers will travel to Brown (7-11, 1-3 Ivy) on Friday and Yale (6-12, 1-3 Ivy) on Saturday, while Penn (9-8, 2-1 Ivy) will take on the Bulldogs on Friday and the Bears on Saturday. Harvard (12-6) and Dartmouth (5-13), tied for second in the League at 3-1 apiece, will each host Cornell (10-8, 2-2 Ivy) and Columbia (2-16, 0-4 Ivy).
