Fall Slate Gets Underway for Women's Rowing
PRINCETON, N.J. -- Ivy League women's rowing begins its fall schedule this weekend with Brown, Radcliffe, Penn and Yale hitting the waters for the first time on Saturday, Oct. 12.
Brown, Radcliffe and Yale head to Shelton, Conn. for the Head of the Housatonic, one of the largest single-day head regattas in the country attracting rowers of all levels. Penn opens its fall slate on the same day on its home course of the Schuylkill River in the Navy Day Regatta.
The other Ivy rowing squads get underway later this month with all eight scheduled to have entries in the 49th running of the Head Of The Charles Regatta on Oct. 19-20 on Charles River in Boston.
