Dolgikh Selected to Coach US National Veterans Team at World Championship

ITHACA, N.Y. -- For the second straight year,
Cornell head fencing coach Iryna Dolgikh has been
chosen to coach the US National Veteran's Fencing Team, as it
prepares for the World Championship.
"This is again a great honor and I am very thankful to the United
States Fencing Association for giving me this opportunity,”
said Dolgikh. “Last year when I went to the World
Championships I had a chance to meet many coaches and tell them
about the Cornell fencing program. It is a fantastic opportunity
for me to shine some light on our great athletic program at
Cornell, which improves the reputation of our growing fencing
program”
The team will travel to Porec, Croatia for the tournament, which
takes place from Sept. 27 – Oct. 4, 2010.
