Fourteen Women's Golfers Earn NGCA All-American Scholar Honors

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. --
The National Golf Coaches Association (NGCA) released the 2011-12
All-American Scholar recipents on July 6 and the Division I team
includes 14 Ivy League women's golfers. Brown (five), Columbia
(three), Harvard (4) and Yale (2) all had players earn the
honor.
The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar team are some of the most stringent in all college athletics. The minimum cumulative grade-point average is 3.50.
A total of 585 student-athletes from Division I, II and III were
named to the 2011-12 NGCA All-America Scholar teams.
