Dartmouth, Penn and Princeton Selected to NCAA Women's Lacrosse Championship Field
PRINCETON, N.J. -- A trio of Ivy League women's lacrosse teams have earned berths in the 2011 NCAA Division I Women's Lacrosse Championship field of 16, it was announced Sunday night.
Princeton (11-6), which claimed the League's automatic bid by winning the Ivy League Tournament, will travel to face No. 5 seed James Madison (15-3) on Saturday, May 14 at 1 p.m.
Earning at-large berths into the field of 16 were Dartmouth (11-4) and Penn (11-5), the Ivy League's regular-season co-champions. The Big Green host No. 7 seed Albany (17-0) on Sunday, May 15 at 1 p.m. while the Quakers travel to face No. 5 seed Duke (13-4) on Sunday at 2 p.m.
