IL Poll | Div. I Preseason All-Americans
BALTIMORE -- Four Ivy League teams are ranked
in the top-20 of the Inside Lacrosse (IL) preseason poll,
including three in the top-10. Moreover, four Ivy student-athletes
have been named to the publication’s preseason All-America
teams, led by Princeton senior defender Lindsay
deButts, who received first team accolades.
Penn and defending League champion Princeton came in at No. 6 and
No. 7, respectively, while Dartmouth is ranked No. 9. 2011 Ivy
runner-up Harvard (No. 13) rounds out the poll.
Three other Ivies joined deButts on the IL preseason All-America
teams. Penn senior attacker Becky Lynch was named to the second
team while Harvard junior midfielder Danielle
Tetreault and Dartmouth sophomore goalkeeper
Kristen Giovanniello each received third team
honors. Giovanniello took home Ivy League Rookie of the Year in
