PRINCETON, N.J. -- The 33rd season of Ivy League women's lacrosse gets underway on Saturday, Feb. 25, with all eight teams in action. Four Ivy squads begin their seasons ranked in the Inside Lacrosse top-20 poll. Penn (No. 6), Princeton (No. 7) and Dartmouth (No. 9) are each listed among the top-10, while 2011 Ivy runner-up Harvard rounds out the poll at No. 13.
Yale and Brown officially kick off the 2012 campaign with 11:00 a.m. games on Feb. 25, as the Bulldogs will host Holy Cross (1-2) and the Bears will travel to face No. 16 Ohio State (4-0). The Buckeyes defeated No. 19 Stanford, 14-10, on Feb. 12.
Columbia and Cornell each play a noon game, at American (1-0) and Rutgers (0-1), respectively. Dartmouth travels to New Hampshire for a 1:00 p.m. matchup in the season-opener for both squads..
Penn will face Philadelphia-rival Drexel (2-0) at 3:00 p.m., which marks the same start time for Harvard's game against Boston U. (0-1). Princeton travels to play Villanova (1-1) at 4:00 p.m.
