BOSTON -- The most decorated student-athlete in Dartmouth and Ivy League history has taken the next step in her running career as Abbey D'Agostino has signed a multi-year endorsement contract with New Balance, the company announced Tuesday afternoon.
D'Agostino wrapped up her career this past weekend at the 2014 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Eugene, Ore., taking third place in the women's 5,000m race and earning her 13th All-American honor.
The Topsfield, Mass., native joins New Balance after a career at Dartmouth that saw her win seven national championships and 16 Ivy League individual titles, as well as helping lead the Big Green to the 2013 Ivy League Cross Country Championship.
D'Agostino's first professional race for Team New Balance will come at the 2014 USTF Outdoor Championships on June 27 in Sacramento, Calif., where she will compete in the 5,000m.
